James Houser

James Houser has been a business plan consultant / coach who has helped clients raise in the millions of dollars in outside financing and has played an integral part in launching over 10 different businesses ranging from restaurants to retail stores to entertainment companies.

As an ardent advocate for entrepreneurial education, James has spoken in front of a number of Universities, High Schools, and nonprofit organizations on topics ranging from business plan development, financial modeling, the importance of entrepreneurial education, and intellectual property licensing business models. James was featured during the 2008 Global Entrepreneurship Week in Hawaii, in which he led a number of workshops held at various Hawaii High Schools. James recently sat on the Board of Directors for FAMES (Filipino American Multi Ethnic Society), a nonprofit organization specializing in entrepreneurial education and mentoring; and is an active CEO Space member.

James Houser graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with degrees in Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Political Science. Upon graduating, James, a recipient of the BDCP program, left Hawaii to serve in the U.S. Navy, attending Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Pensacola, FL. While progressing through OCS, James was diagnosed with a heart condition, which led to him receiving an honorable discharge from the Navy after which he began his entrepreneurial endeavors.

Currently, James is leading the charge in the U.S. Expansion efforts for Small Fish.
